What changed

  • The USCIS page (updated Oct. 19, 2026) says: an announcement about TPS for Ukraine will be made in due course.
  • Until such an announcement, Ukrainians in the U.S. under TPS retain protection, including work authorization.
  • If you still meet the TPS requirements and your EAD application (Form I-765) is still pending, USCIS sends a notice of EAD extension until Oct. 19, 2026: by mail and to your myUSCIS account, if you have one.
  • As of Nov. 3, 2026, we did not find any Federal Register notice on TPS for Ukraine after June 1, 2026.
